It is an<br>Exclusive, Signed, Numbered, Limited Edition 1:1 Replica of the Original Spear of Destiny.<br>This Amazing Piece is an Artists Rendering taken from Various photos of the Original Spear. It is a Solid Resin<br>Replica of the Echmiadzin Lance of Christ, Antioch Version.<br>The Original Lance, currently in Echmiadzin, Armenia, was originally discovered during the First Crusade. In 1098 the Crusader Peter Bartholomew reported that he had a Vision in which St. Andrew told him that the Holy Lance was buried in St. Peter's Cathedral in Antioch. After much digging in the cathedral, a Lance was discovered. This was considered a miracle by the Crusaderswho were able to rout the Muslim army besieging the city and decisively capture Antioch.<br>The Lance (Greek: longche) is mentioned only in the Gospel of John (19:31,37) and not in any of the Synoptic Gospels. The Gospel states that the Romans planned to break Jesus' legs, a practice known as Crurifragium, which was a method of hastening death during a Crucifixion. Just before they did so, they realized that Jesus was already dead and that there was no reason to break his legs. To make sure that he was dead, a Roman soldier (named in extra-Biblical tradition as Longinus) stabbed him in the side, with what would be known as the Spear of Destiny.<br>This Spear of Destiny is made out of Solid Resin and is a Artists Rendering of the original that is currently on Display in Armenia. It is 14 inches long x 5 inches wide x 2 inches thick. It is Antique Silver in color to appear as the original lance would have looked at the time.
